Perfect for hand held applications. The light but rugged injection molded case is

almost 8" high but fits perfectly in the hand.  Openings for the LCD, switch, power jack and keypad are already machined.

Features a 9V battery compartment and a DC power jack.   AC/DC converter included  (USA orders only; not included for International shipments).

 

The 16 character x 4 line LCD with LED backlight, screws right into place using the provided spacers/screws.

 

Both the top overlay and the 15 button keypad have 'pockets' for user provided placards, allowing you to customize it.

 

The PCB comes assembled with an Atmel ATMega128 processor, temperature

sensor, RS-232 interface,  32.768KHz  crystal and software control of LCD back

light and contrast.  Plus lots of prototype area.
