| This is a 4 step process. 1. Use the link below to order a license: We will email you a password so you can unzip the following file: Codevision Standard edition IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE EVAL VERSION, YOU MUST REMOVE IT BEFORE INSTALLING THE COMPLETE VERSION!! 2. After you receive the password; unzip and install the program. (You will need to have Administrator privileges if you're running NT4, 2000 or XP.) 3. Run the compiler, you'll get a new window with a serial number in large red digits. Email this serial number to software@jeminnovation.com . (Note: we must have your name, address and email! Phone number is recommended.) 4. We will forward this to HPInfotech and they will email you a license file to enable the compiler. (The license is locked to a particular computer but can be moved via a floppy disk.) Expect this process to take 24-48 hours. (Heck, you've got to wait for your PDK to arrive anyway.) |

| Software is often the biggest challenge in product development. Anything that makes simplifies the code development is money well spent! It used to be that you had to start with a $5,000 compiler and a $10,000 In-circuit emulator. You then had to start from scratch writing your code. Not any more. While there are lots of options available, our favorite is Codevision. We've been using it for years. Here's why: automatic codewizard: gets you started fast! flexible memory models easy handling of eeprom variables compact code generation great editor features huge library of built-in routines great at bit-twiddling in-line assemble language If you're in a hurry and just want to focus on your application, you can't beat CodeVision. Try it for free! Codevision eval version Note that the eval version is limited to 2000 bytes of FLASH but you'll get a feel for how easy it is to use! |
